Couples counselling focuses on assessing the unique challenges within the relationship and providing evidence-based methods for repairing and strengthening the bond.
Typically, this requires a commitment of an initial session, at-home completion of assessments, and one individual session each before developing a strategy on how best to move forward with goals. This allows the counsellor to have an accurate picture of the relationship dynamics before moving forward with a plan.
